Contract Analyst / Paralegal (Houston or New York) Jobs in New York, NY at Kpler
We have immediate need for an Associate Attorney for our busy law firm in Sherman Oaks. We practice in general civil litigation, personal injury, real estate, employment and business litigation.
Job includes court appearances, litigation support, client interface, drafting motions, drafting and responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions and pre-trial workup and assisting at trial in some cases.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Minimum 3 years working in our practice areas
Strong legal research skills, including proficiency in Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
Excellent writing and legal drafting abilities
Experience in personal injury law and real estate law
Familiarity with estate planning and negotiation techniques
Previous legal administrative experience is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively in a law office environment
Flexible, organized in order to timely complete assigned tasks and a willingness to learn new areas of the law.
Friendly, casual, hardworking office environment and team atmosphere. Generally family friendly hours. Position requires working from office only.
