Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative environment, with exposure to a diverse legal practice including oil & gas law, real estate, probate and estate planning, business transactions, and civil litigation.
Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and representation to clients in a variety of practice areas.
Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, contracts, deeds, wills, and agreements.
Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda.
Negotiate settlements and participate in dispute resolution on behalf of clients.
Manage active litigation including court appearances, depositions, discovery, and trial preparation.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters and case strategies.
Stay current with developments in relevant areas of law and maintain compliance with bar requirements.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
1–5 years of legal experience preferred, particularly in one or more of the following areas:
Oil & Gas Law
Real Estate Law
Estate Planning & Probate
Business Law
Civil Litigation
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $82,173.00 – $93,907.00 per year
