We are seeking a Contract Analyst to join our team. This role is integral to our operations. As a Contract Analyst, you will manage and administer contracts, ensure compliance, and minimize organizational risk.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a profound understanding of contract principles, excellent analytical skills, and practical communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Contract Review and Analysis: Thoroughly examine contract terms and conditions for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to legal and company standards.
Your role in identifying potential risks and liabilities within contracts and recommending and implementing strategies to mitigate them is crucial and significant to our success.
3. Contract Negotiation and Support: Support contract negotiations, working with internal and external parties to reach mutually beneficial terms.
4. Contract Administration: Your role in maintaining and organizing contract files, tracking contract deadlines, and ensuring proper signature routing is a key part of our operations.
5. Compliance and Enforcement: Monitor contract performance and compliance with terms and conditions, flagging and resolving any issues.
6. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports and summarize contract status and performance metrics.
7. Collaboration: You will be an integral part of our team, partnering with legal, finance, procurement, and other departments to ensure that contract terms align with our business needs.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field.
2. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in contract analysis, procurement, or a related field.
Skills:
1. Strong understanding of contract law, principles, and practices.
2. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
3. Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
4. Proficiency with contract management software and tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
