Contract Administrator Jobs in Lennox Head, New South Wales, Australia at Marcon
Title: Contract Administrator
Company: Marcon
Location: Lennox Head, New South Wales, Australia
Contracts Administrator Now Hiring
Take full ownership of the contract administration lifecycle on some of the region's most demanding projects — including landmark luxury developments.
About the opportunity
Marcon is a leading independent Project and Development Management consultancy delivering high-value commercial and residential construction across the Northern Rivers and South East Queensland. We work on complex, high-specification projects that demand commercial rigour, contractual precision, and genuine ownership — not just task execution.
We're looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator who can hit the ground running, manage multiple workstreams with a high degree of autonomy, and bring real commercial acumen to a tight-knit, high-performing project team.
What you'll do
- Administer head contracts, subcontracts, and consultant agreements under AS 4000 / AS 4902 — including variations, EOTs, and formal notices
- Assess and respond to progress payment claims under SOPA, and manage financier reporting and drawdown schedules
- Serve as the primary contractual contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers — managing correspondence with authority
- Proactively identify and manage contractual risk, ensuring compliance with project, regulatory, and financier obligations
- Lead trade procurement and cost control to keep projects budget-positive and on track
What we're looking for
- 3–5 years in commercial construction CA roles with demonstrated end-to-end contract administration experience
- Sound working knowledge of AS 4000, AS 4902, and the Security of Payment Act
- Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, or Business — or equivalent industry experience
- Hands-on experience with Payapps, Jobpac and Procore
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to manage contractual correspondence independently
