Contract Administrator – STTJ Jobs in St Thomas at US Virgin Islands Department of Education

Job Summary:

Sands Anderson PC is seeking an Employment Litigation Attorney with 5 or more years of experience to join our Labor & Employment Team in the Richmond Office. The role involves providing extensive labor and employment advice and representation from the Employer/Management perspective for various public and private entities.

Qualifications:

Active Virginia state bar licensure: other state bar licensure is a plus
Minimum of 5 years of practice with substantial experience in labor and employment law
Strong academic credentials
Excellent research and writing abilities
Demonstrated counseling and litigation skills, including experience in state and federal courtrooms
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
Strong problem-solving capabilities
Exceptional client service orientation
Outstanding organizational and prioritization skills with acute attention to detail
Willingness and ability to familiarize with firm structure, policies, and practices
Capacity to work independently with initiative, responsiveness, diplomacy, tact, and good judgment
Ability to collaborate effectively across different office locations
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to convey a positive and professional image
Strong ability to work under pressure while maintaining patience
Capability to develop and implement strategies to acquire new business and uphold client relationships

Responsibilities:

Offer comprehensive labor and employment advice and representation for public and private entities
Engage in counseling, training, policy development, contract review and development, litigation, and representation before administrative agencies
Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and represent clients in court
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to address legal matters efficiently and effectively

Job Requirements:

JD from an ABA approved law school
Active license to practice law in VA and/or NC
Entrepreneurial drive and desire to build client base
