Job Summary
The Compliance Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring that our organization adheres to regulatory standards and internal policies. This position involves monitoring compliance with laws and regulations, particularly in the healthcare sector, and implementing effective compliance programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Medicaid, MLTC plans, HIPAA, HR and DOH regulations.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage compliance programs to ensure adherence to federal and state regulations.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
Overview of HR Compliance
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to healthcare compliance, including DOH and Labor Laws regulations.
Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related topics.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance policies are integrated into operational processes.
Prepare reports for senior management regarding compliance status and issues.
Serve as a point of contact for regulatory agencies during audits or investigations.
Clock-in/out Conflict Resolution
Chart audits

Skills

Strong knowledge of Medicaid regulations and guidelines.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance management practices.
Understanding of DOH standards which relates to Home Care Long Term Care and Labor Laws regulations which relates to caregivers, home health aides.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to compliance challenges.
Must have knowledge of HHA exchange and good computer skills.

Pay: $52,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
