Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Immigration Attorney (Associate) to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various areas of Immigration law, including Employment-based, Family-Based, and Litigation. The Immigration Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, and representing clients in legal immigration proceedings before USCIS and the EOIR. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation.
Draft legal documents, including immigration petitions, briefs and motions with precision and clarity.
Represent clients in court proceedings and immigration interviews while advocating for their best interests.
Litigate cases effectively by preparing arguments and presenting evidence in a compelling manner.
Provide sound legal advice to clients on various matters related to Immigration Law.
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies and share insights.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect client cases or the firm’s practice areas.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
Proven experience in legal research, writing, and drafting documents.
Experience in Immigration Law.
Strong writing and research skills.
Excellent analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Proficient in using legal research tools.
