Key Responsibilities
· Ensuring compliance with the main contract, including interpretation of FIDIC Red Book 2017 and bespoke conditions.
· Support the Contract and Legal Manager in preparing and issuing contractual correspondence, notices, and reports.
· Track and document variations, claims, and contractual deliverables in coordination with the project team.
· Maintain organized contract records, logs, and registers for change orders, claims, and correspondence.
· Monitor project progress and assist in identifying potential contractual risks or issues and mitigation thereof.
· Support the preparation and submission of interim payment applications and follow up on certifications and payments.
· Assist in drafting and administering subcontracts and supplier agreements, ensuring alignment with main contract terms.
· Coordinate with internal teams to gather documentation and data required for claims, variations, and contractual reporting.
· Participate in meetings with the client and subcontractors as required, supporting the Contract and Legal Manager and other team members.
· Contribute to the contract close-out process, including final accounts and settlement of outstanding claims.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
· 5–10 years of experience in contract administration for large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
· Familiarity with FIDIC-based contracts, particularly the 2017 Red Book.
· Strong organizational and documentation skills.
· Basic understanding of construction law and claims procedures.
· Experience supporting subcontractor management and procurement processes.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems.
· Strong communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Experience
· Experience on large-scale infrastructure or aviation projects in the GCC region.
· Exposure to government or public-sector clients and their contracting protocols.
· Working knowledge of Saudi Arabian contracting regulations.
· Professional certifications such as MRICS, ACIArb, or PMP are a plus.
