The Contract Administrator is responsible for managing and overseeing contract processes, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and facilitating effective contract administration within an airport project environment. This role requires strong expertise in contract management, adherence to RICS standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Administer, review, and manage contractual agreements to ensure compliance with project requirements and legal regulations.
Procurement Support: Assist in procurement processes, including pre-qualification, tender evaluation, and contract negotiation.
Risk Management: Identify contractual risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure contractual compliance.
Dispute Resolution: Support in resolving contract-related disputes, claims, and variations in accordance with RICS guidelines.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate contract records, prepare reports, and ensure proper documentation of all contractual matters.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all contract administration activities align with relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or related field.
RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) certification is required.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in contract administration with exposure large scale projects.
Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and construction-related agreements.
Experience with claims management and dispute resolution in large-scale projects.
Proficiency in contract negotiation, legal compliance, and risk assessment.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of local and international construction laws and standards.
Proficiency in contract management software and ERP systems.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
