With a dedicated team of 30+ professionals, we provide free civil legal services, ensuring the most vulnerable members of our community receive the representation they deserve.
Your Role in Our Mission
As a Housing & Consumer Law Paralegal, you’ll be the backbone of our advocacy efforts—supporting attorneys, managing case files, conducting research, and ensuring efficient client services. You’ll work closely with experienced attorneys, helping to tackle evictions, foreclosures, debt disputes, and more—all while playing an active role in community outreach and education.
What You’ll Be Handling
Summarizing legal documents & conducting research
Drafting reports, correspondence, and legal documents
Interviewing clients & gathering critical information
Filing and delivering documents as needed
Assisting with community outreach & education
Representing clients at administrative hearings (where permissible)
What We’re Looking For
Fluency in English & Spanish preferred
Strong client sensitivity & communication skills
Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
Education & Experience
Associate degree or higher OR Paralegal Studies certificate
5+ years of experience in office administration or management
