Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with preparing and filing bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and related documents using legal case management systems
- Manage document review, organization, and electronic filing in compliance with court requirements
- Coordinate with courts, creditors, trustees, and other parties involved in bankruptcy proceedings
- Maintain accurate case files, track deadlines, and ensure timely submission of all required documentation
- Support attorneys in client communication, scheduling appointments, and managing administrative tasks efficiently
Requirements
- Proven paralegal or legal support experience with a focus on consumer bankruptcy law or related fields such as estate planning or civil litigation support
- Prior experience working in a law office environment with exposure to procedural law knowledge is highly valued
Pay: $45,000.00 – $52,000.00 per year
