StoneTurn is seeking an intellectual property and commercial disputes Consultant to join our team in Austin!

Job Summary

StoneTurn’s Intellectual Property professionals possess significant experience providing a range of litigation support and transactional services. Drawing from diverse backgrounds in licensing, economics, law, finance and business, StoneTurn has provided IP services to client companies ranging from start-up organizations to Fortune 50 multinational enterprises, and for a majority of the NLJ 50 law firms.

In this role, you will be responsible for advanced analyses and managing portions of client engagements related to engagements across a variety of industries. This position requires you to be a person with strong interpersonal, communication, and technical skills. Previous experience in financial dispute consulting within the litigation environment is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Ability to gather, organize, understand, analyze and summarize qualitative and quantitative data.

Analyze and interpret financial statements and related records.

Compile and analyze financial and non-financial information to formulate, substantiate and critique various damages theories.

Develop and utilize financial and other analytical computer models to explain complex information in clear and concise analyses

Develop and communicate work product, both orally and in writing to management and clients

Draft reports noting findings including the preparation of tables, exhibits and charts

Develop and maintain client and internal relationships

Required qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or economics

Strong analytical, technical and interpersonal skills

Strong written and verbal skills

Commitment to exemplary client service

Must be flexible with work schedule and travel requirements of client service projects

Desirable qualifications

One year or more of experience in business or finance

Relevant internship experience in lieu of professional experience

Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

Proficiency with statistical and/or econometric tools such as STATA, SQL or Python

Professional services or consulting experience preferred, national CPA or consulting firm experience is a plus
