Law firm seeks an experienced Construction Litigation Partner in Dallas, Texas. This full‑time, partner‑level role offers a unique opportunity to lead and expand the firm’s construction litigation practice.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction litigation, team management experience, and a book of portable business or established industry connections.

Duties

  • Lead and manage a team handling complex construction litigation matters.
  • Oversee all phases of litigation, including strategy, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to develop growth strategies for the practice.
  • Maintain and grow client relationships while pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Mentor junior attorneys and staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives supporting firm‑wide objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of legal experience in construction litigation.
  • Proven leadership experience managing legal teams and directing litigation strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • A portable book of business is strongly preferred.

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

Active member in good standing with the Texas Bar.

Skills

  • Experience with construction defect claims, contract disputes, lien law, and delay claims.
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills.
