Position Summary

We’re looking for a proactive Legal Operations Manager who can take ownership of key business functions and free up our attorneys to do what they do best. This is a dynamic role with a core focus on collections and revenue follow-through, but it also includes HR support, hiring, systems management, and operational leadership. You’ll be a critical driver of internal efficiency and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Collections & Revenue Management

Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on past-due invoices
Create and manage structured collections workflows (scripts, timelines, escalation paths)
Coordinate with attorneys to preserve client goodwill while improving cash flow
Prepare regular AR and collections reports for leadership

Client Intake & Business Development Support

Maintain client and contact tracking systems (e.g., CRM or spreadsheets)
Help with client onboarding and engagement tracking
Support marketing projects (e.g., newsletters, website updates, outreach)

HR & Internal Operations

Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management
Coordinate performance review processes and team-building initiatives
Maintain SOPs and project manage internal initiatives

Technology & Systems

Evaluate legal tech tools and improve workflow automation
Manage vendor relationships and lead rollout of new systems
Ensure internal systems (e.g., Clio, billing tools) are optimized

Qualifications

3+ years in legal operations, finance, admin, or business leadership (ideally at a law firm)
Strong collections or AR experience with a tactful, relationship-centered approach
Tech-forward mindset; comfort with legal practice tools (e.g., Clio, billing systems)
Excellent organization, communication, and follow-through
HR, recruiting, or payroll experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
