About The Role

We are hiring on behalf of a premier national law firm seeking a Conflicts Staff Attorney to support its risk management and compliance functions. This position is ideal for a licensed attorney with experience in legal conflicts analysis and a deep understanding of ethical considerations within a law firm setting.

Key Responsibilities

Perform thorough conflicts checks using internal databases for new clients and matters

Partner with intake attorneys to evaluate and resolve potential conflict issues

Draft and review conflict waivers in compliance with professional ethics rules

Provide training and maintain documentation on conflict clearance processes

Support special conflict review projects (e.g., lateral hires, mergers, firm combinations)

Assist with other administrative and risk-related initiatives as needed

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Active bar license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

1–3 years of experience in conflicts analysis, legal risk management, or a similar role

Familiarity with the Rules of Professional Conduct relating to conflicts of interest

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and client service abilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Elite Records Management is a plus
