We are looking for an experienced Conflicts Analyst with experience in conflicts management within the legal industry. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of conflicts resolution processes. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, while also providing accurate and timely support in managing conflicts of interest. Familiarity with our systems, such as CMS/Aderant, Dun & Bradstreet, and Hoovers, would be a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Review and analyze potential conflicts of interest related to new business, matters, and client engagements.
Conduct thorough conflict checks and ensure all conflict-related issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Prepare and maintain conflict reports for partners, attorneys, and administrative staff.
Liaise with internal teams such as legal, compliance, and management to ensure the proper handling of conflicts.
Utilize CMS/Aderant, Dun & Bradstreet, and Hoovers to gather pertinent information for conflict analysis.
Provide guidance and recommendations on how to handle potential conflict situations.
Assist with drafting and reviewing engagement letters, ensuring compliance with conflict resolution standards.
Maintain and update conflicts management databases and records.
Participate in the development and implementation of conflicts-related policies and procedures.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in conflicts analysis within a law firm or legal environment.
Familiarity with conflicts management systems and databases (CMS/Aderant, Dun & Bradstreet, and Hoovers preferred).
Strong understanding of conflicts of interest, legal ethics, and compliance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, partners, and administrative teams.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
