Job Description
Our client, a well-regarded Texas based law firm, is looking for a Conflicts Analyst to join their team.
Position Overview
Support and oversee the firm’s Conflict and Client Intake process using Intapp Conflicts and Intake modules.
Ensure integrity of new business intake and compliance with ethical standards.
Duties And Responsibilities
Conduct conflict checks for new clients, matters, and lateral hires.
Analyze conflict search results and identify potential ethical/business conflicts.
Collaborate with attorneys, Conflicts Counsel, and the Conflicts Committee to resolve issues.
Maintain and enhance conflict rules, search strategies, and synonym lists.
Prepare detailed conflict reports with summaries and resolution recommendations.
Assist with Intapp configuration and administration (user permissions, workflows, notifications).
Support training for attorneys and staff on conflicts procedures and system use.
Participate in system testing, user acceptance, and optimization efforts.
Coordinate with IT and external vendors (e.g., Intapp consultants) for troubleshooting and improvements.
Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in a law firm conflicts department (preferably using Intapp).
Knowledge of legal ethics and professional responsibility standards.
Strong analytical, research, and corporate affiliation research skills.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Aderant or similar financial systems is a plus.
