Condo/Co-op Attorney (7+ Years of Experience – NYC)
Offit Kurman, a growing Am Law 200 firm, is seeking an experienced Condo/Co-op Attorney with 7+ years of experience to join our expanding New York team.
Responsibilities:
Understanding of offering plans and advising condo and co-op boards on governance matters, including elections, fines, and amendments
Assist with shareholder/unit owner misconduct, including proprietary lease terminations, alterations and eviction matters.
Counsel clients on governance, alterations, late fees, arrears, common element purchases, sponsor disputes and air rights.
Manage litigation related to foreclosures, eviction proceedings, and board disputes.
Guide clients on trust/LLC ownership agreements and related structuring matters.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in condo/co-op law, real estate, or related practice.
Admission to practice in New York and significant experience handling NYC-specific condo/co-op matters.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
