ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Compliance/Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing compliance and quality assurance processes within Community and Family Services. Working closely with the Director of Community and Family Services, this position helps ensure program documentation, billing, and service delivery meet applicable Medicaid, OPWDD, and other regulatory requirements.

This role leads compliance efforts across programs in Oneida and Lewis Counties, monitors internal billing and service documentation, coordinates internal reviews, and supports the resolution of identified compliance concerns. The Compliance/Quality Assurance Manager also provides supervision and oversight to the Compliance Coordinator, delivers training and guidance to staff, and serves as a liaison between Community and Family Services and Financial Management.

Additionally, this position plays an active role in incident review and reporting, regulatory visits, quality assurance activities, and the development and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and committed to promoting the health, safety, rights, and well-being of the people we support.


Schedule/Hours

  • Full Time: 35 hours per week
  • Schedule may include flexibility based on program needs
  • Travel between program locations in Oneida and Lewis Counties may be required


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a related field from an accredited college
  • Minimum of 5 years of documented experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Must meet Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) requirements
  • Previous experience directly or indirectly supervising staff
  • Knowledge of OPWDD regulations and applicable Medicaid compliance requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a wide range of individuals
  • Computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and databases
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record


PAY & PERKS:

  • Pay Rate: $45,000 salaried non-exempt
