Overview
Family Law Group is seeking an experienced estate planning and probate attorney to join our growing firm. The ideal candidate will 3 to 5 years of experience that includes estate planning, probate, guardianships, and conservatorships. You should be committed to providing the highest quality legal services to our clients, and you should be able to manage your own caseload.
Duties
Meet with clients to determine their estate planning, probate, conservatorship, and guardianship needs.
Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis to support case preparation.
Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
Draft and review probate, conservatorship, and guardianship documents, including pleadings and motions.
Attend court hearings
Stay informed about changes in applicable laws.
Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and trust.
We strive for 1,500 annual billable hours (about 125 a month)
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the State of Colorado.
Strong knowledge of estate planning laws, strategies, tools, and techniques, and proven experience in estate planning.
Knowledge of probate, conservatorship, and guardianship laws, and relevant practice experience.
Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear and concise legal documents.
Familiarity with Lexis or similar legal research tools is preferred.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with colleagues.
