We are looking for an entry-level Compliance & Onboarding Associate to support our client onboarding and due diligence processes. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, verifying client information, and mitigating financial risks. You will work closely with the Compliance Officer, assisting in risk assessments and maintaining high standards in onboarding procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Client Onboarding & Due Diligence
Collect and verify client identification documents.
Conduct ultimate beneficial owner (UBO) verification and assess client risk profiles.
Ensure all onboarding documentation complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
Communicate with clients to resolve any compliance-related inquiries.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
Assist in gathering financial details such as source of funds and source of wealth.
Support the Compliance Officer in preparing regulatory reports and maintaining records.
Handle law enforcement requests for information, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
Requirements
Interest in compliance, AML, or financial risk management within a regulated financial services environment.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of company law (Hungarian AML framework knowledge is an advantage).
Fluent Hungarian and strong English proficiency (both written and spoken).
Strong communication and organizational skills
