Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Compliance Officer/Business Support Officer based in Hong Kong SAR, with the flexibility to work both on-site and from home. The role includes monitoring and maintaining organizational compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, as well as supporting the development and updating of compliance frameworks, procedures, and documentation. The Compliance Officer/Business Support Officer will assist in conducting risk assessments, internal reviews, and compliance testing, and will help prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for management and external stakeholders. Daily activities also include supporting business operations with compliance-related guidance, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and responding to compliance inquiries. The role involves maintaining accurate records, tracking deadlines for filings or renewals, and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and regulatory adherence.
Qualifications
- Strong Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance skills, including familiarity with relevant regulations and internal control frameworks.
- Proficient Analytical Skills and basic Finance knowledge to interpret data, assess risks, and support compliance and business decisions.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain compliance requirements clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, high level of integrity, and commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience in compliance, risk, or financial services is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
