Key Responsibilities
Monitor legal and regulatory developments at the national and international levels.
Translate new laws and regulations into actionable internal procedures and guidance.
Monitor internal compliance and advise business units on compliance obligations.
Provide training and raise awareness on compliance and data protection topics.
Draft structured, well-reasoned compliance advice and internal documentation.
Review and assess Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Legitimate Interest Balancing Tests (LIBTs), and Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs).
Develop and maintain data protection policies and procedural documents.
Manage small-scale compliance-related projects involving various stakeholders.
Respond to data subject access requests (DSARs) and complaints.
Support with data breach assessments and post-incident actions.
Evaluate the impact of regulatory developments such as new EDPB guidelines.
Must-Have Qualifications
Educational Background: Law degree with specialization in compliance or data protection.
Languages: Proficiency in Dutch, English, and French.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of GDPR and privacy compliance.
Experience with drafting and reviewing legal documents and policies.
Familiarity with risk assessments and regulatory frameworks.
