Job Summary

The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of regulatory, documentary, and compliance requirements necessary for business operations and special projects. The role serves as a key liaison between the company, government agencies, consultants, and external stakeholders to secure permits, registrations, approvals, and other regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in supporting project execution by ensuring compliance obligations are met within established timelines and regulatory standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Process and coordinate regulatory requirements with government agencies such as BOI, DTI, LGUs, and other relevant offices.
  2. Prepare, organize, and submit documentary requirements for permits, registrations, licenses, and compliance-related applications.
  3. Monitor and follow up on the status of applications, approvals, and submissions to ensure timely completion of requirements.
  4. Coordinate with internal departments to gather, validate, and complete necessary documentation and supporting requirements.
  5. Liaise with consultants, suppliers, service providers, and external stakeholders to facilitate regulatory and compliance processes.
  6. Ensure all compliance requirements are completed accurately and within prescribed deadlines.
  7. Maintain organized records, tracking systems, and documentation files for all compliance-related activities.
  8. Identify and escalate issues, risks, or delays that may impact regulatory timelines and project implementation.
  9. Provide administrative support related to compliance, documentation management, and regulatory reporting as needed.
  10. Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned in support of business and project requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Management, Public Administration, or any related field.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance, government processing, permits, licensing, documentation management, or related functions is an advantage.
  • Strong coordination, organizational, and follow-through skills with the ability to manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage internal stakeholders and government agencies.
  • Highly detail-oriented, resourceful, and proactive in resolving issues and securing required approvals.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to conduct fieldwork and coordinate regularly with government agencies and external offices.
  • Training or exposure to regulatory compliance, government transactions, or documentation management is an advantage.
