🎯 The Role
We are seeking a Compliance Officer to oversee compliance activities, support regulatory obligations, and strengthen governance practices across the organization.
This role is ideal for professionals who are detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, policies, and industry standards.
🚀 Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance Management
- Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance frameworks and programs
- Conduct compliance reviews, assessments, and monitoring activities
- Identify compliance risks and recommend mitigation measures
- Support the implementation of corrective and preventive action plans
Regulatory & Policy Oversight
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on business operations
- Draft, review, and update compliance policies, procedures, and governance documents
- Provide guidance to business units on regulatory requirements and compliance obligations
- Support regulatory filings, reporting requirements, and submissions where applicable
- Ensure organizational policies remain aligned with legal and regulatory expectations
Risk Assessment & Internal Controls
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and control evaluations
- Assist with internal audits, inspections, and compliance investigations
- Maintain risk registers and compliance tracking mechanisms
- Monitor control effectiveness and support remediation activities
- Collaborate with risk, legal, audit, and operational teams to strengthen governance processes
Training & Awareness
- Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programs
- Promote a culture of ethics, integrity, and compliance throughout the organization
- Provide compliance advisory support to employees and management
- Respond to compliance-related inquiries and provide practical guidance
- Support whistleblowing, ethics reporting, and incident management processes
Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
- Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, and management updates
- Support regulatory audits, external reviews, and client compliance assessments
- Liaise with regulators, auditors, legal advisors, and external stakeholders where required
- Assist leadership teams in monitoring compliance performance and governance initiatives
✅ Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Public Policy, Governance, Accounting, or a related field
- 2–7 years of experience in compliance, risk management, governance, audit, regulatory affairs, legal support, or related functions
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and governance principles
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills
- Strong report-writing, documentation, and communication abilities
- Ability to interpret regulations and translate requirements into practical business guidance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools is advantageous
- Professional certifications such as ICA, CRCM, CCEP, CAMS, CISA, CRISC, or equivalent are beneficial
- Experience in regulated industries is highly desirable
