Role Summary: The Compliance Officer supports the Compliance Department in ensuring Mutakamelas’ operations adhere to regulatory requirements set by the Insurance Authority and other relevant bodies. This role is responsible for assisting in monitoring, reporting, maintaining compliance records, and coordinating compliance-related tasks across departments.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing regulatory compliance reports and documentation for submission to the Insurance Authority.
• Maintain records of compliance policies, procedures, and audit findings.
• Support compliance monitoring activities, including internal audits and control checks.
• Track and follow up on regulatory changes and assess their impact on operations.
• Coordinate compliance training sessions and maintain attendance and certification records.
• Help investigate compliance issues and incidents under the guidance of the Compliance Manager.
• Ensure timely filing and documentation of approvals, licenses, and regulatory correspondence.
• Assist in reviewing marketing materials, policy documents, and contracts for compliance.
• Liaise with internal departments to gather data for regulatory and internal reporting.
Education and Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• Certification in compliance or risk (e.g., ICA Certificate, Certified Compliance Professional) is an advantage
• IFCE required
Experiences Required:
• 3 years of experience in compliance, internal audit, (preferably in insurance or financial services)
