I am delighted to be exclusively partnered with one of Cyprus’s largest business groups, active across multiple sectors including construction, property development, tourism, hospitality, and transport, is currently seeking a Mid-Level Compliance Officer to join its Group Legal & Compliance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical professional who is passionate about compliance, risk, and ESG, and looking to make an impact in a multi-entity corporate structure.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting the Group Legal & Compliance Officer in ensuring company-wide regulatory compliance
Assisting in the development and maintenance of internal compliance policies and risk frameworks
Conducting compliance risk assessments and supporting mitigation planning
Staying current with emerging regulations, including ESG and sustainability compliance
Preparing compliance reports for internal and regulatory use
Assisting in employee training and awareness programs
Conducting due diligence on third-party vendors and partners
Supporting monitoring and reporting of data privacy obligations (GDPR)
Aiding internal and external audits and investigations
What We’re Looking For
Technical Know-How
Familiarity with corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks
Working knowledge of GDPR, ISO 27001:2022, and other data privacy regulations
Awareness of ESG compliance frameworks (nice to have)
Ability to interpret legal/regulatory changes
Education & Experience
Degree in Law, Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field
2–4 years of experience in compliance, legal, or risk roles
Experience in regulatory reporting or ESG is a plus
