Barnes Gold Management (BGM) is hiring a Compliance Manager to lead compliance for our Texas LIHTC portfolio. You will assist in building compliance policy, train onsite teams, and visit properties to confirm standards are held in the field.
What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain the AFHMP and a master compliance profile for each property
Own the compliance calendar, waitlist oversight, and required tenant notices (TDHCA Rent Notice, Tenant Rights and Resource Guide)
Build and deliver training: new-hire, property take-over, annual, and refresher training for onsite teams
Manage quarterly PHA utility allowance checks and annual UA methodology filings
Maintain recertification and new-property takeover checklists
Conduct property visits and follow-up visits to confirm corrections are completed
What You Bring
3+ years of LIHTC compliance experience with working knowledge of TDHCA and IRS Section 42
Experience with Fair Housing regulations, AFHMP, and utility allowance methodologies
HCCP, COS, TCS, or equivalent certification preferred
Strong facilitator, comfortable building and delivering training to onsite teams
Willingness to travel across the Texas portfolio

Pay: From $53,306.41 per year
