Legal Support Specialist Opportunity – West University (77005)

The O’Neill Firm, PLLC is looking to hire a Legal Support Specialist. The ideal candidate must have a meticulous approach to detail and superior proofreading abilities. Responsibilities:

Manage client intake, perform preliminary research, and conduct in-depth case reviews.
Maintain litigation databases, ensuring all matters are organized and current.
Craft, proofread, and file legal documents, upholding the highest level of accuracy.
Coordinate court dates and client meetings, keeping a meticulous record of all deadlines and commitments.
Aid attorneys in trial and hearing preparation, demonstrating proactive initiative.
Create and refine legal correspondence, employing your excellent written communications.

Your Profile:

A bachelor’s degree.
Legal experience is preferred. If you don’t have direct legal experience, you must be an quick learner, capable of mastering complex legal concepts.
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and quick to embrace new software.
A good communicator with organizational skills.
A logical thinker with keen problem-solving capabilities.
Adept at juggling tasks and independently conducting research.
Eager to grow, learn, and become an indispensable asset to our team.
Ability to multitask and conduct independent research.
Self-starter, willing to learn.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the expectation of flexibility to meet the demands of case work as needed.

Compensation:

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary starting from $65,000 per year, negotiable based on experience. I value employees and I aim to reflect that in how I reward them.
