The Compliance Manager is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring Yzer’s adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies and guidelines. The Compliance Manager collaborates with various departments to develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance program, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability. In addition, this person will provide monitoring compliance programs, conducting audits, and conducting training, to mitigate risks for the organization.  This Manager will oversee a team of 3-4 people including two compliance analysts and one compliance coordinator.  

Responsibilities

Developing and Implementing Compliance Programs

Creating and maintaining company-wide compliance policies and procedures. 

Ensuring these policies align with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. 

Overseeing the implementation of compliance programs across the organization. 

Monitoring and Auditing

Conducting regular audits to assess compliance with policies and procedures. 

Identifying and investigating potential compliance issues or violations. 

Monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring the company stays up to date.

Develop risk management strategies.

 Reporting and Documentation

Preparing and maintaining accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities. 

Reporting compliance issues and findings to management and relevant regulatory bodies. 

Developing and maintaining compliance reports.

 

Collaboration

Working with other departments and teams to ensure compliance across the organization. 

Collaborating with legal counsel and regulatory bodies as needed.

Analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.

Advise the top management on business operations relating to investment, risks and any other policy development

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

At least 3 yeas of experience in compliance, audit or risk management. 

Skills

·        Knowledge of regulatory compliance principles and practices

·        Analyzing data and drawing conclusions

·        Skill in budget/resource management

·        Effective communication (both written and oral)

·        Independent decision making.

·        People leadership and supervision.

·        Ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills as well as draw conclusions and prepare accurate reports of results
