Akdeniz Consulting is a fast-growing international consulting firm providing accounting, tax, payroll, corporate, immigration, and legal support services to companies and entrepreneurs doing business in the Netherlands.
As our client portfolio continues to expand, we are looking for a motivated Compliance & Legal Associate to strengthen our Legal & Compliance team.
Your Role
As a Compliance & Legal Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting our legal and corporate services practice. This is a hands-on position offering exposure to a wide range of international clients and cross-border projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct KYC, AML, PEP and sanctions screening procedures
- Perform client onboarding and customer due diligence (CDD)
- Support company incorporations and corporate housekeeping matters
- Draft, review and maintain legal documents and commercial agreements
- Conduct legal research and provide internal legal support
- Liaise with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK), tax authorities and other public institutions
- Assist with internal compliance policies and risk management procedures
- Support immigration and employment-related legal processes where required
- Work closely with our Tax, Accounting, Payroll and Corporate Services teams
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law
- Excellent command of Turkish and English, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of Turkish Commercial Law is considered a strong asset
- Previous experience in KYC, AML, Compliance, Corporate Services or a law firm is highly preferred
- Experience in an international advisory, trust office, accounting or legal environment is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- Dutch language skills are a plus but not required
