Role Purpose
Assists the Compliance Officers and the Head of Compliance in the execution of their functions, which includes second line monitoring, reporting, planning etc.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Law, Accounting or Compliance
At least 1 – 2 years’ experience in the assistance of compliance officers (to the advantage for an intern)
Knowledge of how a compliance function operates
Duties and Responsibilities
Internal Processes
Second line quality assurance monitoring
Collation of monitoring plans, Regulatory universes and Compliance Risk Management monitoring plans, reporting documentation and CRMPS and other compliance documentation
Assist compliance officers with the compilation of compliance reports
Interacting with the business in respect of second line quality assurance monitoring, where required, Interacts with MML Group Compliance in respect of segment compliance requirements
Tracks regulation and assists and alerts compliance officers in keeping up to date with regulatory requirements
Assistance in adhoc compliance projects and driving automation of compliance monitoring and reporting
Client
