What You Will Be Doing
- Provide sound & pragmatic advice, and strengthen compliance programmes, focusing on:
- a. Data protection
- b. Anti-bribery & anti-corruption
- c. Anti-trust/competition
- d. Trade and OFAC sanctions
- e. Anti-money laundering
- Monitor, assess and manage compliance risks, including identifying emerging issues, supporting remediation actions and escalating material matters where appropriate
- Liaise with judicial, regulatory or law enforcement authorities as needed
- Design and deliver compliance training to internal stakeholders
- Collect, analyse and report compliance data
Who is Our Right Fit
- Qualified legal professional with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, with a focus on data protection
- Experience developing or enhancing compliance programmes and training
- Strong knowledge of HK PDPO, GDPR and (as a plus) Chinese privacy laws
- Experience in a fast-paced and agile corporate environment
- Sole contributor, multi-tasker, self-starter, go-getter and team player
- Logical, commercially minded, proactive, creative, adaptable, and comfortable working with ambiguity
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Project management experience is a plus
