About this role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Coordinator to support our compliance department. This role blends regulatory research, risk management, and training with day-to-day administrative operations. This role is suited for a professional who can manage compliance processes independently, work cross-functionally, and contribute to building scalable controls in a fast-moving environment.
Job Responsibilities & Duties:
Operations & Onboarding
- Execute day-to-day compliance operations, including user/corporate onboarding, KYC (Know Your Customer), KYB (Know Your Business), and routine risk assessments.
- Coordinate directly with external vendors and third-party service providers.
- Assist with internal and external audit preparation.
Research, Policy & Contracts
- Conduct legal and regulatory compliance research to keep the team updated on shifting requirements.
- Review, update, and maintain internal company policies and procedures.
- Perform initial reviews of standard commercial contracts, such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain and manage the master Compliance Calendar, meticulously tracking and meeting regulatory deadlines.
- Prepare detailed compliance reports and documentation for management.
- Handle general administrative tasks to keep the compliance function running efficiently.
Training & Culture
- Develop materials for and deliver compliance training sessions to internal teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 2–5 years in a corporate compliance, legal operations, or risk management role.
- Key Skills: Strong understanding of AML/KYC frameworks, sharp eye for contract language (specifically NDAs), highly organized project management habits, and clear communication skills for conducting training.
- Academic: Post graduate degree in Law, Business Administration and Accounting
Preferred qualifications:
- Familiarity with fintech, asset management, or startup environments
- Knowledge of regional regulations
- Compliance certifications such as CAMS or ICA are an advantage.
