About the role:
We are seeking detail-oriented Compliance Associate to join our team at Ellerslie office. This will be an individual contributor role.
Role responsibilities:
Monitor business activities for compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
Provide administrative support to the team
Ensure compliance activities are completed in a timely, efficient, and effective manner to maintain regulatory compliance.
Provide accurate and relevant information and recommendations to decision makers.
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Expertise in AML / CFT and/or Privacy Act compliance is highly desirable
Organized and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Ability to multi-task, prioritize workloads and manage timescales. Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Experience/ Skills required:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field
2 to 3 years of proven experience in compliance role.
Experience in payments industry is preferred
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
