As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Assistant to support our compliance and governance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing the company's compliance framework, policies, and procedures
- Support the preparation of Board, Investment Committee, and Compliance Committee meeting materials
- Monitor and maintain compliance registers, records, and documentation
- Assist with the implementation and review of internal policies and procedures
- Support ongoing compliance monitoring and reporting activities
- Assist with annual audits, regulatory reviews, and external compliance requirements
- Conduct compliance-related research and assist in preparing reports and recommendations
- Support the business in maintaining strong governance and risk management practices
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- A professional, proactive, and collaborative approach
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, Business, Risk Management, or a related discipline
- Previous experience in compliance, risk management, audit, financial services, or corporate governance
- Understanding of Australian financial services regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience working within a financial services, lending, funds management, or professional services environment will be highly regarded
