Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, with expertise in Personal Injury Law. This role requires exceptional legal research and writing abilities, as well as the ability to take cases to trial.
Duties
Represent clients in litigation cases, effectively advocating for their interests in court.
Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Manage all aspects of litigation from inception through trial, including discovery and settlement negotiations.
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting cases.
Utilize Lexis-Nexis and other legal research tools to gather information pertinent to cases.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation or related fields.
Proficient in legal drafting and documentation with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to litigate effectively in court settings.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
