Position Overview
We provide legal advice and services to non-profits and for-profit clients on federal and state lobbying, government ethics, political activities, and non-profits compliance.
The Compliance and Contract Director will support our attorneys and clients, and they will have responsibility for managing compliance with federal, state, and local lobbying, political activities, pay-to-play, and procurement rules for our clients.
Core Responsibilities
Assist with lobbying registration and reporting processes, including compiling and verifying data for periodic filings. Track and support compliance with political contribution laws, coordinating with clients and their external consultants and stakeholders
Work with attorneys and clients to refine internal processes for contract and compliance management, identify risks, and develop solutions that enhance efficiency for clients
Support clients’ adherence to federal, state, and local requirements when clients hosts government officials at events by gathering and validating high-volume information related to invitees, jurisdictions, and event costs.
Keep track of all agreement requests and related deadlines
Work collaboratively with the legal team to facilitate the provision of prompt, high-quality service to the clients
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
