Compliance Analyst- Equity Long/Short Hedge Fund (London)
Permanent Full-Time role
Salary: £60-70k (dependent on experience) + bonus + excellent benefits
Our client, a multibillion Equity Long/Short Hedge Fund, part of a $75bn group, is currently seeking a dynamic Compliance Analyst to join its growing Compliance Team in London.
This individual will be the third member of the UK Compliance Team and will provide general support in a variety of areas. They will report directly to the UK Chief Compliance Officer.

Responsibilities & Goals
Provide generalist compliance support to the UK and broader global Compliance team.
Compliance onboarding/offboarding of UK staff, including employees and consultants.
Administration of key individual compliance matters, including periodic certifications,
compliance training, and personal account dealing requests and reporting.
Maintenance of conflicts of interest logs, including the processing of gifts/entertainment
requests and disclosures.
Supporting the UK Compliance team with daily short position disclosures and MIFIR
transaction reporting.
Due diligence of service providers, including management company vendors, executing
brokers, research and data providers, and AI tools.
Monitoring of electronic communications, and chaperoning expert network calls.
Supporting the global compliance team on various matters, such as processing Reg M
review requests.
Liaising with and advising front-office and other staff on ad hoc compliance matters.
Education & Experience
1-3 years’+ experience of compliance or financial regulatory matters at an asset manager, bank, law firm, regulator, consultant, or other relevant institution.
Bachelor’s degree, 2:1 or higher. Law, economics or a finance-based subject is preferable, but not essential.
Required Skills/Characteristics
