Job Description / Responsibility
Job Purpose: The Company Advisor will provide strategic guidance and advisory support on legal matters, government liaison, regulatory compliance, law enforcement coordination, and crisis management. The incumbent will act as the principal advisor to Management in maintaining effective relationships with government agencies and ensuring the Company’s interests are protected in legal and regulatory matters.
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate effective communication with law enforcement agencies whenever required.
- Maintain professional liaison with relevant Government Ministries, Departments, and Regulatory Authorities.
- Coordinate with police authorities regarding company-related investigations and legal matters.
- Advise Management on all legal, regulatory, and law enforcement matters affecting the Company.
- Monitor and oversee all criminal, civil, labor, and other legal cases involving the Company.
- Advise the Chairman and Management on sensitive legal, and regulatory matters.
- Provide strategic guidance during business expansion, crises, and government interactions.
- Advise Management regarding changes in government policies and regulatory requirements.
- Advise Management regarding litigation strategy and dispute resolution.
Experience
- Must be a Retired Additional IGP or DIG of Bangladesh Police only.
- Strong knowledge of the legal system, criminal justice procedures, and regulatory framework in Bangladesh.
- Experience coordinating with government authorities and regulatory agencies.
- Excellent crisis management and negotiation skills.
