Plunkett Cooney, one of the largest and most accomplished law firms in the Midwest, is seeking an experienced Commercial/Bankruptcy Attorney to add to its growing team.
The preferred candidate will be an experienced and versatile attorney with a client-centric philosophy and who has demonstrated an ability to compete and prosper in complex environments.
To be considered, candidates *****
Have at least 5 years of experience in commercial loan restructuring, collection, and bankruptcy;
Have a portable book of business but looking to grow their business with an established client base;
Have excellent research and communication skills;
Be comfortable learning new computer software;
Have a J.D. from an ABA-approved law school; and
Be a member, in good standing and active, in the State Bar of Michigan.
We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated lawyer who has demonstrated an ability to compete and prosper in highly competitive and complex environments with significant client contact. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
