Commercial Real Estate Counsel Jobs in Atlanta, USA at Alexander Chapman
- Manage the legal closing process for commercial real estate financing transactions.
- Coordinate with lenders, outside counsel, title companies, custodians, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
- Draft, review, and negotiate loan assignments, transfer documentation, and other transaction documents.
- Support structured finance transactions, including repurchase facilities, subscription facilities, warehouse financings, and other commercial real estate debt structures.
- Coordinate due diligence, closing deliverables, documentation, and transaction timelines.
- Review title, survey, organizational, and loan documentation.
- Help improve transaction processes, documentation standards, and closing workflows.
Qualifications
- J.D. with approximately 2-6 years of relevant transactional experience.
- Experience in commercial real estate finance, commercial lending, structured finance, capital markets, or related transactional practice.
- Background at a law firm, commercial lender, financial institution, or real estate investment platform.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
