We’re working with a fast-growing, cutting-edge FinTech business, who are seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Paralegal to support the drafting, review and negotiation of commercial agreements across the business.
This is an exciting role offering genuine ownership, close collaboration with senior stakeholders and the opportunity to shape legal processes within a commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts – including MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, licensing, technology agreements.
- Lead contract negotiations with customers, suppliers and third parties.
- Provide practical, commercially focused legal guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Identify and manage contractual, regulatory and commercial risks.
- Manage relationships and instruct external legal counsel where required.
- Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks and legal processes. Oversee contract execution, storage and renewal processes. Support continuous improvement of legal operations and contract management.
About You
- 3+ years’ experience in a commercial contracts or in-house legal role.
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Able to manage matters independently and prioritise competing deadlines.
- Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within technology, SaaS, financial services, data or another regulated sector is advantageous.
