Hourly rate: £16.95p/h (including holiday pay)
We are partnered with a Magic Circle law firm, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paralegal (1 year+) to gain high profile in-house legal experience. You’ll begin by joining the firm’s Paralegal team, receiving initial training and exposure to live matters, before embarking on a client secondment with the legal department of a major motor and home insurer.
The Role:
Secondment Details: You’ll work remotely as part of the client’s small, collaborative legal team (fewer than 10 people). This setup provides ample opportunity for you to take on higher-level responsibilities, especially if you adapt quickly and demonstrate strong capability.
Duration: The secondment will last for at least six months, with the potential to extend beyond a year.
Future Prospects: Following the secondment, there may be an opportunity to rejoin the Magic Circle law firm’s Paralegal team.
Requirements:
A minimum of one year’s experience in a Paralegal or Support Lawyer role.
Corporate or transactional experience is preferred, particularly in negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts.
Must be LPC/BPTC or SQE1 qualified as a minimum.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to learn, with a willingness to work collaboratively within a small team.
