Job Title: Associate Attorney & Paralegal (1+ Year Experience)

We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney and a Paralegal with at least 1+ year of experience to join our team and assist with all aspects of litigation.
Position Overview:
Associate Attorney
As an Associate Attorney at Tatone Law, APC, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks across litigation matters, including:
Propounding and responding to discovery (interrogatories, requests for production, etc.)
Law and motion practice, including drafting motions and oppositions
Trial preparation, including witness preparation and organizing exhibits
Drafting and reviewing pleadings, discovery responses, and settlement agreements
Attending court hearings and mediations, representing clients as needed
Communicating directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Assisting in case strategy and client management
Paralegal
As a Paralegal at Tatone Law, APC, you will support attorneys in the day-to-day management of litigation matters, including:
Drafting and preparing legal documents, pleadings, and discovery responses
Assisting with case management and organizing files for trial
Conducting legal research to support attorneys in motions and briefs
Managing discovery, including gathering, reviewing, and organizing documents
Preparing trial binders and coordinating logistics for hearings and trials
Assisting attorneys during court appearances and depositions
Qualifications:
For Associate Attorney:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active member of the California State Bar
1+ years of experience in civil litigation (experience in discovery, law and motion practice, and trial preparation is a plus)
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
For Paralegal:
1+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in civil litigation
Paralegal certification (preferred)
Proficient in drafting legal documents, discovery, and legal research
Familiarity with court rules and filing procedures
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office and legal case management software (e.g., Clio, PracticePanther)
