An opportunity has arisen for a commercial litigation lawyer to join a highly regarded disputes practice in Melbourne.
This role offers exposure to a broad range of commercial disputes, providing the opportunity to develop a genuine generalist litigation skill set while working alongside highly regarded practitioners on complex and often high-profile matters.

The Opportunity
You will work across a broad range of commercial disputes and litigation matters, gaining experience across all stages of the dispute resolution process.
Depending on your experience and interests, matters may include:
- Complex contractual and commercial disputes
- Corporate and shareholder disputes
- Regulatory and investigation matters
- Insolvency and restructuring-related disputes
- Competition and consumer law matters
- White-collar and enforcement matters
- Urgent interlocutory applications and injunctions
- Alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediations
You will be involved in strategy development, legal research, drafting, evidence preparation, court proceedings and direct client engagement, while working closely with experienced litigators and partners.
About You
You will be a lawyer with 1-4 PQE and have gained experience in commercial litigation within private practice OR within the Courts where you have/are completed/ completing an associateship.
You will be looking for an environment where you can continue building broad disputes experience while taking on increasing levels of responsibility and client exposure.
In addition, you will bring:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent drafting and communication abilities
- Sound commercial judgement
