Role: Legal Assistants (Case Manager Assistants) work closely with assigned Case Managers in “mini-teams” to accomplish the following: request, compile and organize medical records and billing statements to assist in completing demand packets to the insurance companies.
Essential job duties include:
– Ordering and retrieving the necessary documents to provide as proof of the client’s injuries to the insurance companies such as medical records/bill.
– Compiling/reviewing files for demand
– Assisting assigned case manager and attorney with other administrative tasks/projects
Attributes for success: Competitive, persistent, exceptional communication skills and acute attention to detail, the ability to multi task, possesses a positive mentality and is adaptable to change
Key Results Areas: What defines success for this position?
– Placing between 20-30 phone calls daily to request/follow up on requests for medical records
– Assist in production of at least 25 accurate and complete demands each month
– Organize and manage tasks for 100% completion on daily basis, with no more of 15-20 per day
– Responsive communication with Case Manager, Team Leads, and assigned Attorney
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour
