Responsibilities

and Practice

Dentons US LLP seeks a junior or mid-level associate to join our sophisticated Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. Candidates should have 2-5 years of complex litigation experience, excellent academic credentials, and proven analytical ability. Ideal candidates will have extensive commercial litigation experience and some exposure to insurance litigation. Our associates collaborate with partners and clients and are key team members. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Handling all aspects of litigation from inception through trial and appeal where relevant

Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda

Drafting complex case evaluations, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents

Managing discovery processes, including document production, written discovery, and depositions

Working with clients, witnesses, experts, and other counsel

This is an excellent opportunity to work with dedicated lawyers passionate about their work, within an international law firm. Dentons’ Litigation and Dispute Resolution team employs appropriate tools and strategies for each stage of the process, handling high-stakes and complex disputes worldwide. With over 200 litigators in the U.S. and more than 700 globally, we offer exceptional depth and expertise to our clients.

In accordance with California law, the salary range for this position is $235,000 – $325,000, depending on experience. Dentons associates may hold titles such as Associate, Managing Associate, or Senior Managing Associate. We offer a competitive salary and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), disability insurance, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays, and discretionary bonuses.

Superior organizational and time-management skills

Commitment to client service and collaboration

Technical Skills

2-5 years of complex litigation experience

Strong writing, case management, and oral advocacy skills

Familiarity with e-discovery and related technologies

Previous law firm experience preferred

Other Requirements

Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing
