The Role

Eclectic Recruitment is working with a leading global law firm seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate (3–5 PQE) to join its London disputes team.

The practice handles some of the most complex and significant domestic and international disputes in the market, including contractual disputes, business torts, shareholder disputes, competition matters and other high-stakes commercial litigation.

The successful candidate will gain broad exposure across the lifecycle of major disputes, including drafting, legal research, evidence and document analysis, development of case and trial strategy, and attendance at court hearings.

This is particularly well suited to an ambitious litigator who enjoys the intellectual and strategic side of disputes and wants greater exposure to complex cross-border matters and high-level written advocacy.

About you

  • 3–5 PQE with strong commercial litigation experience
  • Experience gained wholly or partly within a leading commercial law firm
  • Exposure to complex and/or cross-border disputes
  • Excellent academics and strong technical ability
  • High-quality legal drafting and written advocacy skills
  • Commercial, proactive and comfortable taking responsibility
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
