A well-established law firm with a strong presence in the Greek legal market is currently seeking a Commercial & Insurance Lawyer to join its growing team in central Athens.
This opportunity is ideal for lawyers who wish to further develop their expertise in commercial and insurance law, working alongside experienced professionals on a broad range of advisory and contentious matters for both domestic and international clients.
The Role
You will be involved in a variety of commercial and insurance law matters, including:
- Advising corporate clients on commercial and contractual issues
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements
- Providing legal advice on insurance and reinsurance matters
- Handling insurance-related disputes and claims management
- Advising on regulatory and compliance issues affecting insurance businesses
- Supporting clients in risk management and policy interpretation matters
- Participating in negotiations, settlement discussions, and dispute resolution processes
- Working closely with clients across various industries on complex legal matters
Qualifications
- Greek law qualified lawyer
- Law degree from a Greek university
- LL.M. or other postgraduate qualification will be considered an asset
- 2-6 years of professional experience in Commercial Law
- Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Exposure to insurance claims, disputes, or regulatory matters will be considered an advantage
- Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
